Meet Our Freelancers

Hope

With seven years of experience in the hair industry, Hope’s journey began as a Saturday girl at The Boutique Knowle. She progressed into an apprenticeship, refined her skills, and went on to become fully qualified. In February 2025, she took the exciting step of becoming self-employed, allowing her to bring her passion and creativity directly to clients in her own space.

Hope is dedicated to all aspects of hairdressing, from beautifully blended colours to precision cutting, and she specialises in hair extensions. Her focus is always on delivering a warm, personalised experience and ensuring every client leaves feeling confident, cared for, and completely in love with their hair.

As she embraces this next chapter, Hope is excited to continue looking after her loyal clients while welcoming new faces into her chair.

Sophie


Sophie has been perfecting her craft in the beauty industry for eight years, specializing in nail, brow, and lash treatments. Her journey began at The Boutique as an apprentice in 2017, where she honed her skills and built a loyal client base.

Now, as she embarks on her self-employed journey, Sophie is excited to welcome clients into her cosy salon corner, offering expert treatments in a warm and relaxing space. Her passion, experience, and attention to detail makes us so excited to have her staying working alongside us as she starts her next chapter!

Kate

Kate is an independent nail technician based at The Boutique in Knowle. She specialises in gel polish and builder gel, using a premium nail system that’s free from HEMA, HPMA, IBOA and Di-HEMA — the four most common nail allergens.

Nail health is always her top priority, and she takes a gentle, caring approach to every treatment. Whether a client is recovering from damage or simply wants to maintain strong natural nails, Kate is dedicated to helping them get there.

She also loves all things nail art — from sparkly stars to animal print — so if a client has a design in mind, she’s always excited to bring it to life and give their nails the glow-up they deserve.

Lucy S

Lucy S

With over 20 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, Lucy is a fully trained hair stylist and nail technician who prides herself on delivering high-quality results using premium products. Her approach is rooted in honesty, attention to detail, and a genuine love for helping clients feel confident and looked after.

Hair
After working with a variety of professional colour brands over the years, Lucy found her perfect match with Wella Professional when joining The Boutique Collective. Known for its beautiful tones and flawless finishes, Wella allows Lucy to create colour that’s tailored to every hair type — whether that’s a full global colour, highlights, lowlights, or her favourite technique, balayage.
Alongside colour, Lucy loves cutting and styling, from regular trims to full restyles, always finished to suit you and your lifestyle.

Nails
Lucy is a certified Bio Sculpture technician, offering premium nail services including gel, gel polish, and BIAB. Nail health is always the priority, with a focus on long-lasting wear and a flawless, natural finish.

Lucy K

Lucy is the owner of The Boutique Collective, with over 16 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry. A skilled hairdresser and beauty therapist, she specialises in massage, facials, and brows.

Known for her warm approach and high standards, Lucy is dedicated to creating a welcoming space for both clients and independent creatives within the Collective.

Cancellation Policy

A polite notice to our Clients,

We have recently been experiencing a lot of last minute cancellations.

We absolutely appreciate that things crop up and are unavoidable, however it is last minute cancellations and unfilled appointment slots that can be really damaging to little local businesses like us.

We do have a 48 hour cancelation policy and if appointments are cancelled after this period there is a fee for payment of half of your treatment or service. If you do not let us know you cant attend and “no show” to an appointment you will be charged the full amount.

Please try and let us know with as much time as possible if you cannot make your appointment.

Hair and beauty related services

We request the minimum level of personally identifying information to run our business effectively. This is data you provide us directly, for example, your name and contact details. We will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside our business. We store notes with respect to services we undertake to ensure we maintain and exceed our level of service. For example, your preferred hair style, colour formula codes, how you like your coffee and who your favourite stylists are. We consider you have provided consent for us to store personally identifying information and information about your services based on your receiving services from us.

Depending on the particular service(s) we are providing we may be required to ask questions related to your medical history. We will obtain your consent prior to storing information related to your medical history. Examples of medical data may be allergies, pregnancy or an injury that may impact our service.

Appointment confirmations and reminders

We will contact you via phone, email or SMS to confirm appointments booked and remind you of upcoming appointments. We consider your having made the appointment as consent to undertake this activity but, if you want, you may opt-out at any time.

Appointment ratings and reviews

After visiting us we may send you an email or SMS asking you to rate our services and provide feedback. We consider your agreement and participation in the service as consent to undertake this activity but, if you want, you may opt out at any time.

 Loyalty

We consider becoming a member of our loyalty program as consent to send you emails related to the loyalty program but, if you want, you may opt out at any time.

Marketing

We will not undertake phone, mail, email or SMS marketing without you first providing consent for us to do so. Our marketing campaigns are automated and use rules based on services and products purchased and information we collect from you. For example, we may send marketing campaigns related to your birthday, the fact we miss you (you have not visited for 3 months) and other special days like Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Of course, you may opt out of receiving marketing material at any time.
